Your training will be comprised of 5 units of Study and will include:
- Importance of Correct Clothing
- Familiarisation of the Bike Controls
- Ability to get the Bike On and Off the Stand Safely
- Practial Rideing, Moveing Off, Stopping, Gear Changes, Slow Control Etc

Restricted Access 33bhp Motorcycle Training Course
After completing your CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) you can continue your Motorcycle Training on a 125cc motorcycle (Though there are restricitions to your motorbike licence). This gives you the opportunity to improve in confidence and ability until you are ready to Pass your Motorbike Test.
The training courses at Apex Motorcycle Training are constructed around you and your ability. You can train in full days, half days, or even 2 hour slots.
Once you pass your motorbike test on a 125cc motorcycle, you are then restricted to a motorcycle with a maximum power output of 33bhp or 25k/w
for 2 years.
Virtually any motorcycle can be restricted to 33bhp. Your local bike shop should be able to make this modification at your request.
Direct Access Scheme (DAS) From £450
If you are 21 or over you can take your Motorcycle Training and Motorbike Test on a larger Motorcyle (500cc).
Once you have passed your (DAS) Motorbike Direct Access Test you
can then ride any motorcycle you like without Motorbike Licence Restrictions.
The advantages of Direct Access Training (DAS):
You learn on a larger more powerfull machine, similar to the ones that most people buy after
passing thier test. (DAS) Direct Access Training allows a much wider choice of motorcycle after
you have passed your test. Eg. Tourers, Cruisers and Race Replicas.
Remember there is no substitute for experience. If you are not sure which course is right for youto opt for, why not try the FREE ASSESSMENT to make sure you get the right Motorcycle Training Course for you.
